FUJISOFT INCORPORATED (“FUJISOFT” / First Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange 9749 / Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan / President: Haruhisa Shiraishi) is pleased to announce that it will establish the FUJISOFT TAIPEI Branch in Taipei, Taiwan on Monday, March 8 to expand its operations in Taiwan.

FUJISOFT established the Fujisoft Taipei Representative Office in Taipei, Taiwan in September 2009, becoming the Company’s first overseas branch. Since then, the Company has been promoting collaboration with local companies and has been building a support system relating to its software products.
With rising demand for the software products of the Company in Taiwan, FUJISOFT will turn the Taipei Representative Office into the FUJISOFT TAIPEI Branch and expand its operations in Taiwan. After the establishment of the FUJISOFT TAIPEI Branch, FUJISOFT will step up its marketing activities in Taiwan and will draw on its technological capabilities to develop its operations, especially the development of software embedded in communication equipment and digital home appliances at which the Company excels.

FUJISOFT will seek to expand its overseas operations in areas other than Taiwan after fiscal 2011, considering emerging markets where the communications equipment and digital home appliance markets are growing remarkably. Details of the Taipei Branch are as follows:
