Data Privacy Policy for the European Economic Area
This Privacy Policy sets out a policy for handling personal data that Fuji Soft Incorporated (“we”) obtains from individuals located in the European Economic Area (the “EEA”; each of those individuals, “you”).
1. Purpose of Use of Personal Data
We use your personal data for the purposes set out below, based on legal grounds stipulated in the European General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”).

We will never use your personal data for automated processing, including computerized profiling. We will retain your personal data only for the period of time necessary for the above purposes and will periodically check the scope of personal data that should be retained.
2. Categories of Personal Data Obtained
Categories of personal data we obtain from you for the purposes set out above include the following, among others:
- Name;
- Kana (Japanese phonetic characters);
- Sex;
- Age;
- Address;
- Telephone number;
- Fax number;
- E-mail address;
- Personal information required when we provide services;
- IP address;
- Information collected by cookies; and
- Information on use of products and services, such as login date and time and billing information.
3. Handling Based on Consent; Right to Withdraw Consent
You may, at any time, withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information if that processing is conducted based on your consent. Please use the contact details provided at the end of this Privacy Policy if you wish to withdraw your consent.
4. Discretionary Provision of Personal Data
Please decide at your discretion whether you will provide us with your personal data. However, please note that you might not be able to use some or all of the services we provide if you do not want your personal data to be obtained, processed, or transferred by us via the methods set out in this Privacy Policy.
5. Outsourcing to Contractors
We might outsource part of our operations (including operation of call centers and inquiry desks, website construction and management, data entry, billing and collection of payments, delivery of our products and service information, printing, packaging, shipping, questionnaires, customer satisfaction surveys, and other operations necessary for providing products and services) to contractors in order to smoothly conduct our business.
However, your personal data will be disclosed within the minimum scope necessary in order to outsource such operations and will be used within a limited scope. We appoint contractors that meet our standards, execute with those contractors agreements on handling of personal data that comply with the GDPR and relevant laws and that protect your privacy and appropriately supervise those contractors.

In accordance with the GDPR and relevant laws, you are entitled to request (1) access, (2) rectification, addition, erasure, and exercise of the right to data portability, (3) suspension of use, and (4) suspension of provision to contractors (“Access, etc. ”) with respect to your personal data that we obtain and process. You are also entitled to lodge objections related to the handling of your personal data with the national data protection supervisory authorities with jurisdiction.
7. Use of IP Addresses and Cookies on Our Websites
We use a standard web server log system to obtain log files, such as IP addresses and cookies, from those who access our websites. Although we might use such log files as necessary to analyze causes of security incidents, we will not collect any information that identifies individual users. Depending on the browser you use, you can disable cookies by changing the settings of that browser. Disabling cookies might affect the convenience of your browsing experience and might disable some functions of the website you are browsing.
8. Transfer of Personal Data Outside EEA
We might transfer your personal data to countries outside the EEA, including Japan, to achieve the purpose of use. Countries outside the EEA might not recognize data subject rights similar to those granted under the GDPR, but we will ensure that appropriate safeguards are implemented to protect your personal data, through the execution of standard contractual clauses under the GDPR and the like.
