Sustainability Management

Sustainability Policy

Under its Purpose,
"To remain an irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind partner that stands alongside the development of society and the creation of customer value,"
Fuji Soft positions sustainability as a key management priority and is committed to advancing initiatives that support its realization.
In response to rapidly changing social and environmental challenges, we are committed to responsible business practices and collaboration with our stakeholders, including customers. By leveraging the power of ICT and digital technologies, we create new value and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Sustainability Governance

To address sustainability-related challenges, Fuji Soft has established a sustainability management framework under the oversight of the Board of Directors. By linking sustainability initiatives with the enhancement of medium- to long-term corporate value, we promote sustainability as a company-wide commitment.
The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing material sustainability matters. It deliberates and determines policies and key initiatives, receives reports on progress, and provides oversight and guidance regarding the execution of sustainability-related activities. To advance sustainability initiatives, we have established the Sustainability Promotion Committee, chaired by the executive officer responsible for sustainability. The Committee identifies sustainability-related issues, risks, and opportunities, examines response strategies, manages targets, and promotes related initiatives.
Material sustainability matters discussed by the Sustainability Promotion Committee are submitted to the Management Committee, where they are reviewed for alignment with business strategies and management plans before decisions are made.

Steps for Identifying Material Issues

STEP1 Define what we value
We organize what is necessary for enabling us to continue enhancing our corporate value

STEP2 Identify the social issues
Using the SDGs as a foundation and referring to various sustainability guidelines, we identify social issues that are highly relevant to our Company and its primarily Japan-based business operations.

STEP3 Evaluate materiality
A scatter plot is created to display the degree of materiality of each social issue in relation to what we value and the degree of impact on stakeholders.

STEP4 Materiality
Based on the scatter plot of social issues, the Board of Directors deliberates and sets the issues of materiality

In 2026, we reviewed our materiality issues identified in 2024, incorporating the concepts embedded in our redefined corporate philosophy—our Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Code of Values.

Material Issues and the SDGs

We have organized the material issues identified by our company and the related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through our business activities, we aim to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.
