Social Contribution Activities
Social Contribution and Disaster Support Activities
The internal Social Contribution Section was established in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 and promotes volunteer activities led by IT Kobo Hinoki, a non-profit organization founded by Fuji Soft to work with local governments and citizen groups in disaster-stricken and depopulated communities. The organization assists in post-disaster restoration and supports long-term needs, such as community recovery and regional revitalization. As part of these efforts, Fuji Soft also introduces its products to provide practical solutions, helping increase public awareness of the role information and communications technology plays in daily life. In addition, while responding to the increasingly frequent natural disasters in recent years, we have gained valuable experience that will enable us to provide even more effective assistance in the future. We are also developing the capability to offer indirect support to disaster-stricken areas, including through remote assistance for manufacturers.
